Nerd rockConsider that nerd rock genereally refers to bands like Devo, Weezer, They Might Be Giants, or sometimes Kraftwerk. Now, the music of Led Zeppelin has probably inspired more Dungeons and Dragons campaigns than any combination of other artists. They've even done several songs based on the works of Tolkien. The thunderous godfathers of heavy metal are also pretty close to the pinnacle of nerd rock. |
